Just like the classic 70’s song by Sly & the Family Stone “Hot fun in the Summertime” (my parents are a fans of oldies tunes), I’ll use any excuse to take advantage of the slightest increase in temperature to slip on a dress and skirt. I’m a girly girl at heart and as much as I get down at the gym, rockin’ my sweat headbands and comfy activewear around town, I love getting dressed up! This floral dress is so light and effortless to wear, and can easily transition from a casual day look to an evening date night on the town. Accessorize with white kicks & a jean jacket, wedges & dangling earrings or heels & neutral coloured bracelets depending on the situation. Bonus, with wedding season coming up, it can double as a guest of a wedding dress. Florals are still all the rage this season, but honestly I don’t see them going anywhere anytime soon.
