Once upon a time, I thought the closest I’d ever get to experiencing fairy tales and castles would be through the stories I read and movies I saw as a child. Little did I know that moving to Italy, would bring me that much closer to fulfilling my dreams of sleeping in a castle and feeling like a princess (even if it was just for the weekend). Here’s my ultimate guide to Italian Castles

Walks of Italy Tour: Cook, Dine & Drink Wine

In September 2013, I embarked on my first international solo trip to Rome. Here’s my review of the Walks of Italy tour “Cook, Dine & Drink Wine with a Local Chef” (a Cooking Day in Rome). If you’re interested in this tour you’ll need to set aside a few hours and I’d highly recommend using public transit..

And it wasn’t just a typical waiting-around-for-fittings affair, either. Instead, call it the ultimate playground of all casting calls, starting from the outside, where Phil Oh lensed the grand entrances of the insouciant-cool models-off-duty en masse, while photographer Sofia Malamute created editorial-worthy portraits of several of the stunners on the sidewalks.

With love, from Rome

I absolutely love exploring cities in the Spring time, don’t you? For me it’s like the start of a new romance, it’s warm and a inviting, a breath of fresh air before the passion and roaring heat of the summer rushes in. Ashley Ludaescher is a fine art wedding photographer, she and her husband Andreas travel between their homes in California and Berlin. During their travels to Europe, we connected with them in Rome for an Engagement themed photoshoot.

Weekend Away, Sabaudia

by

My favourite thing is to go where I’ve never been. What better way than to head out of the city to spend sometime at the beach before the long weekend. We decided to get a lead on long weekend vibes and shoot down to Sabaudia for a couple of days before the crowds started to trickle in. We left early Thursday morning and drove roughly 2 hours to San Felice beach and spent a good portion of the day there, before making our way to Agriturismo Mizzon.
